chosen the date, booked the church, probably even decided on the dress but...
the venue ... no easy decision to make. It's not every day you get married, and
this special day is one of the most important occasions in your life -
therefore, it has to be perfect.
At the Royal Victoria you can be
assured of our personal attention and every budget can be catered for, from a
small informal gathering to a grand fairytale affair.
Expert advice and guidance is on hand
throughout the planning stages, and on the day, to ensure the smooth running of
your reception from beginning to end. Advice can also be provided on such
services as car hire, balloons, flowers, photography, disco hire etc.

CIVIL
WEDDING CEREMONY
The Victoria Suite is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies. Hire of this
suite costs £325 in 2008 which includes floral decorations to suit your colour scheme.
Arrangements for the registrar to visit the hotel need to be made by yourselves.
However, we will be happy to offer advice on how to go about this. (Please note
that the £325 room hire is payable to the hotel - further charges, which vary
according to the day of the week, are payable direct to the registry office).

OVERNIGHT
ACCOMMODATION
A special discounted rate can be offered to your guests who wish to stay
overnight.
We will supply an accommodation booking form for you to distribute
with your invitations.
WEDDING RECEPTION ROOMS
The Royal
Victoria has a number of function rooms available for your wedding reception.
The Sea Terrace
Restaurant* is located on the first floor giving it commanding sea views and has
a capacity of up to 150 people.
For a more
intimate reception the Victoria & Albert rooms are suitable for between 10 & 50
people.
The Burton suite
with it’s own private bar area makes an ideal venue for a less formal wedding or
evening function.
*A room hire
charge of £550 is payable for evening use of the Sea Terrace Restaurant, applies
after 5.30pm.
